Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is prepared when there is a transfer of title between parties (Donor and Donee) over land without Certificate of Occupancy.
Requirements for Registration of Power of Attorney (Without consideration):

• Executed Power of Attorney
• Original Survey Plan (Composite Survey if government land)
• Original Certificate of Deposit
• Passport photographs of Donor & Donee
• Allocation Letter (applicable to government land only)
• Stamp Duty (as regulated by IRS)
• Non refundable application fee: ₦10,000
• Deeds registration Fee: ₦10,000
• Late Registration Fee: ₦10,000 (applicable one year after execution date of Power of Attorney)
• Certificate of Incorporation (applicable to companies only)
